Yesterday morning (10/24/2015) Ryan and I had brunch at the Craft Food & Beverage Company in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. They were doing a special craft-your-own Ketel One Caesar/Bloody Mary Bar for Cayman Cocktail Week with tons of tasty options to add to your drink. The Bloody Mary also came with a small mason jar of beer that you could add if you like.
As far as the food, we split the PB&J French Toast and the Oyster Po’ Boy Benedict. Both were very good.
I ended up trying two new beers while we were at Craft F&B. The first, Mans Hatterd Amber Lager from the Cayman Islands Brewery Ltd., was the beer that came with the Bloody Mary. There isn’t a lot of information available about Mans Hatterd Amber Lager besides on UNTAPPD and the Craft F&B beer menu so I used these sources alone. The beer is a 7% alcohol by volume (ABV) Amber Lager brewed by the Cayman Islands Brewery Ltd. located in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. UNTAPPD lists Mans Hatterd Amber Lager as a Lager – American Amber / Red.
My second beer was Samuel Adams Rebel IPA, a 6.5% alcohol by volume (ABV) West Coast style IPA from The Boston Beer Company located in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. According to The Boston Beer Company’s website, Samuel Adams Rebel IPA was brewed using American Cascade, Simcoe®, Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo hops; Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend and Caramel 60 malt; and Samuel Adams Ale Yeast. Rebel IPA is bright copper in color (11 SRM) with 45 IBUs (International Bitterness Units) and is available year-round.
