Last night (07/29/2015) I tried a bottle of Full Sail’s India Pale Ale, a 6% alcohol by volume (or ABV for short) Northwest-style IPA from Full Sail Brewing Company out of Hood River, Oregon, USA. I had purchased a 6-pack from BlackBeard’s on West Bay Road, Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands that same day.
Full Sail’s India Pale Ale is part of their Year Round Brews collection served in 6-packs, 12-packs, and on draft. The beer came in a 12 fluid ounce bottle with an enjoy by date of 02/14/15. We clearly need to do a better job of checking freshness next time. In our defense, we were in a hurry to get home from work.
Below I have added a short description of Full Sail’s India Pale Ale taken from their website:
“Generously hopped to 60 IBU’s in the classic style, our IPA is a real thirst quencher. It has a full, malty body and there’s even a hint of fresh citrus to it. Perfect after your favorite water sport. Even if that happens to be the grueling drag-the-poolside-lounge-chair-into-the-sun event.” – Full Sail Brewing Company
